NC 210 S. Sidewalk ConnectionsWith this LAPP grant, the Town of Angier would like to add to an existing sidewalk network in order to provide walkable connectivity in a low income area of town. This project will consist of design, engineering and construction for two 5' wide sidewalk sections which include storm drainage and curb & gutter. The new sidewalk would provide a valuable link in the chain of our current walkable network and extend from S. Raleigh St (Hwy 55) 1,830' along NC 210 S. Also, another 350' connection is requested along S. Park St to connect the almost complete sidewalk on Lillington St to this new section along Hwy 210. The estimates, which are based on an evaluation of our most recent bid, include an additional 15-inch RCP, yard inlets, potential utility pole relocations, and water/sewer service relocations.
